Yes, I watched it, finally. Definitely good stuff. It’s the kind of thing that the uninitiated can watch and digest without being overwhelmed. The details can get very overwhelming.

I have two parts that are my favorites, the interview with Sheldon Cohen is priceless. He comes off looking like an idiot. He certainly may be. To come right out and say that a supreme court decision is inapplicable because it came before the law was written was fantastic. Did he even know what he said?

The other part I really enjoyed was the interview with a juror from the Whitey Harrel case. She deserves kudos and an award for being such a model American. She is one of my heroes now.

I urge everyone to spread the word on this and get as many people as possible to watch it as possible. Buy the DVD and have screenings at home. I’m planning on doing that myself. My copy is en-route.

Somebody had an idea some time ago that I think is great idea. Create a C.A.T. A Constitutional Aptitude Test. This would be a test we would invite elected officials to take. Let them know ahead of time that the reults will be published. If they refuse to take the test, that fact will be published.

All elected officials from the President all the way down take an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic. These people should all have substantial knowledge of the Constitution before the even run for office. They are required to take an oath they should be knowledgable. If they are not, we deserve to know this. We deserve to know enough so we can vote them out of office.

I have a feeling that many will refuse to take a test. This should be indicative of how comfortable they are with their knowledge. We should assume that if they refuse, the have little knowledge of the subject matter. Anyone who has the knowledge should not eb afraid to be tested.

What do you think? Can this be done? How many of you are willing to help?

I can certainly create an online test that will tabulate the scores. I can create the website for it. We will need people to create the questions and the answers. We will need people to contact the people to take the test. We will need to raise funds for advertisements to publish the results. I’m certain major newspapers will not cover this kind of thing. Or will they? We will need people to find these things out.

Is it possible or is this just a pipe dream?
