RE: Demand and Notice
On October 1, 1996, I wrote a letter to one of your predecessors rescinding the original application that was made associating me with your Old Age Disability Survivors Benefit program. It is a damnable sin for me to participate in the program that is contrary to the Bible's plan for provision. Even more so, association and identification with a Social Security Number (SSN), previously referred to as a Social Security Account Number, will result in eternal damnation according to the book of Revelation, Chapter 13. In my October 1996 letter, I agreed to never accept any benefit of your program for myself or my dependent wards, and to never identify myself or my family with the damnable number. Since the date of my letter, I have been true to my word.

The results of my action have coincided with the troubles predicted by the Holy Scriptures. I have been told that I am a criminal for driving an automobile, because I cannot confess the damnable number, since I cannot get a driver's license due to the provision of section 666 in volume 42 of the United States Code. I am told by employers that they are prohibited from hiring me. Hunting, fishing, marrying, voting, banking, contracting, and many other common rights have suddenly become 'illegal' for me. You communicated through one on your officers in an official letter that I have, that 'The Social Security Act does not require a person to have a Social Security number to live and work in the United States, nor does it require a Social Security number simply for the purpose of having one.' However, I was lied to my whole life being told that it was a government mandate that I obtain and use a SSN. I did not learn until just prior to my October 1996 'rescinding of application' letter that the SSN is the number of the beast referred to in the book of Revelation. Subsequently, I learned the program was voluntary. Once I learned that the SSN is the number of the beast, I was obligated for the sake of my eternal soul and the souls of my children to forsake any relationship with the damnable program.

The reason I am told that I cannot have a driver's license, cannot vote, cannot hunt or fish, etc., is because I am told that I must identify myself by an SSN ' 'if any.' Though there is no valid contract on record associating me with the damnable program and its number, and contrary to my letter of October 1, 1996, your organization continues to publish, in words that some might use, that I 'have' a damnable Social Security Number. If your organization was not wrongly maintaining my, and our, names on your records, and thus wrongly publishing that I 'have' a damnable Social Security Number, I would be able to vote, drive, marry, fish, etc. without being challenge to forsake my faith in Jesus Christ.

You have a procedure, RM 00205.095 'Parent Objects to Assignment of SSN to Child Under the Enumeration At Birth (EAB) Program' whereby you remove children's names from your social security account records (Enclosure 1). It is there for when someone associates a child's name with your records contrary to a parent's will. Your procedure clearly shows that you have your employees push the limits of dishonesty and bad faith regarding people's rights to not participate in the damnable system or have their children's names associated with the damnable system. For example, the statement you use in step four is misleading. You ask if the parent has used the 'child's' SSN. If the parent says 'yes', you give a misleading statement ' 'the record cannot be deleted.' The statement is misleading because most people might naturally misconstrue your statement to believe that the record cannot be changed. You do not go to step five unless the parent does not relent. You do not explain that the record can be changed until step five and six.

Whether or not your records and their corresponding numbers exist or not is not my concern. My concern comes when you are associating my name, and the names of my saved wife and children, with the damnable SSN. Herein I demand that you remove my name, David Alan Carmichael ' born December 31, 1961; the name of my wife, and lawful ward under the common law, Leslie Young Carmichael (formerly Leslie Kay Young) ' born August 6, 1966; the name of my daughter Bethany Michelle Carmichael - born May 25, 1988; the name of my son Jesse Gray Carmichael ' born November 2, 1990, the name of my son Isaac David Carmichael ' born May 10, 1995, and the name of my daughter who's name I believe has not been disclosed to you, born November 7, 1998. Each of our names was associated with your records against our will, not volitionally, and never-the-less is absolutely prohibited by the word of the Living God, punishable by eternal damnation.

Act immediately, and notify me when action is taken. Do not ignore this letter as you and your predecessor have done previously. If you do not take the action, I will file suit against you personally for your failure to do that which is clearly right, and I shall file suit against Michael O. Leavitt in his capacity as Secretary of Health and Human Services. Consider this due notice with regard to 'Injunction.'

If the wording of this letter seems somewhat obstinate, it is. I am fed up, and I am determined.   See David Alan Carmichael v. United States, 298 F.3d 1367 (Aug 2002); 66 Fed. Cir. 115 (2005).
