Year 2003 in Review Be sure to share this issue of The Tax Freedom 101 Report with your fellow citizens! Before we enter into 2004 let's look back and review 2003. Sometimes we tend to forget some of the more memorable moments as reported here in The Tax Freedom 101 Report. Please enjoy what we believe to be some of the more intriguing stories consisting of both setbacks, and accomplishments for those in the pursuit of liberty within the Constitutionalist Revival Movement. Feb 12th Issue - Tax Honesty Movement Takes a Licking, But Keeps on Ticking - The IRS ramps up enforcement by pursuing many organizations in the business of providing tax advice, tax shelters, or assisting Taxpayers in filing amended returns for refunds. Better known as the section 6700 charge, the IRS closed down many organizations with the help of the courts. This issue available here. April 26th Issue - Free The Churches, Free The People - The Free Church Project becomes the Free Church Ministry. Undoubtedly one of the most interesting perspectives on the course of the first American Revolution, and how the unlicensed clergy of the Church played an instrumental role. Does history repeat itself? This issue available here. July 30th Issue - Class Action Law Suit by WTPF - Redress of Grievance falls on deaf ears. WTPF pursues a 'declaration of Rights' and 'injunctive relief' to have their grievances properly heard and addressed through the Supreme Court. This issue available here. August 19th Issue - The Jury Box and the Vernie Kuglin Story - A Tennessee Jury acquits a FedEx pilot of 6 counts of tax evasion for failure to file. Fox News picks up the story and runs with it. The verdict of NOT GUILTY sent conservative mainliners reeling, liberals scrambling, and Patriots across the nation into jubilation. This issue available here. September 9th Issue - One Hour with Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dumber - IRS tries to gather information to stick the Save-A-Patriot Fellowship with a ยง 6700 charge during a summons meeting. When the dust clears the Save-A-Patriot Fellowship is still standing. The only organization to withstand an IRS raid in 1993, and now thwart charges of providing tax advice. December 18th Issue - Seditionists Excommunicate Judge Roy Moore - As the foundation of law crumbles within the hearts and minds of Americans, so does it in court houses across the country. One man takes a stand to reestablish the rule-of-law by trying to obey and uphold his oath to the Alabama State Constitution.
