I strongly encourage everyone who has interest in the SSN-for-license
issue to read Larry Becraft's legal brief as filed in the Ben Mauldin case
in Texas. Link provided below.

Hey folks,

Ben Mauldin's two briefs are posted at:

http://home.HiWAAY.net/~becraft/MauldinEPbrief.htm

I just spent some time putting in links to the Supreme Court cases which
the briefs mention. This should help people learn about equal protection
principles.

The hearing is set for Oct. 30, 2000, at 2:00 PM in Austin. Since I
have never been to that courthouse, I will just feel my way to the
courtroom. I will probably meet Skip, the local lawyer from Texas
Justice Foundation, outside the courthouse so that we can got to court
together.
