NEWS:
- Freedom Drive
The We The People Congress [WTPC] is promoting an event called 'Freedom Drive'. You can learn more about the event at the WTPC link which we have provided. This is for all practical purposes the last step in the redress-of-grievance [r-o-g] process. The hope with Freedom Drive is that it will prick the conscious of representatives who have sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution, garner some media attention, and unite Patriots. After continuous stonewalling by Congress denying the right of the people to petition government for a r-o-g, the event will most likely be an opportunity for Patriots across the country to network with each other at best. This is primarily what we would like to address - the networking aspect.

We're encouraging all Save-A-Patriot Fellowship members [IRs and member reps.] to become either state or county coordinators for the We The People Congress. We have adequately made known our strong disagreements with the loose language and positions that the WTPC and other highly notable WTPC associates hold regarding the nature of the income tax, and we will continue to make our objections known when appropriate.

Barring our disagreements, this should not preclude SAPF members from taking an independent and active role in the current objectives of the WTPC. They have a foothold, and the resources to bring their message, albeit eschewed with regard to meaningful application of the income tax, forward to a naive American people. SAPF members networking with the WTPC as state or county coordinators will be beneficial to the new uninitiated citizen who may stumble upon the WTPC while investigating the history of the income tax. Certainly as an SAPF member acting independently as a coordinator they can explain the differences of opinion as to approach within the 'tax honesty' movement when the citizen requests more information. Pointing the new recruit to an organization that has stood the test of time and is on point with the law, and requests that citizens educate themselves fully before making any decision to 'take action' will benefit everyone. This will prevent undue harm, short-cut avenues, and quick-fixes from becoming prevalent within the 'tax-honesty movement'. Knee-jerk emotional reactionism is easy to induce with simple messages such as 'the income tax is voluntary'. Statements such as these while good for arousing curiosity lack substance [remember it was the IRS who used the word voluntary first]. Half-truths that sound convincing can lead to a mob mentality easily swayed by future rhetoric appearing beneficial for those listening at the time. However truthful solid education provides long-lasting irreversible steadfastness, and allows citizens to spot charlatans who have plans of their own. We believe the same charlatans denying the r-o-g will be ready to champion a new and improved tax system for the benefit of themselves, and the alternatives forwarded will be far worse for the uneducated quick-fix short-cut kind of individual. This is our fear. For ignorant and free shall never be!

It has been said that 'the devil is in the details'. It is our contention that if you leave out the details you won't see the devil. We want our members to provide the details to those looking. For further information on becoming a coordinator for the We The People Congress visit their web site.

- Death Wish?
It is not often you find people as brave as Larken Rose. When you do however you just have to marvel at them. Speaking out and challenging an agency with just about as many guns as the ATF is, well, well we don't know what it is. We can tell you this though, you have to be even more trustworthy and brave to place your faith in the average American jury these days. Usually made up of 12 ignorant future welfare sucking leaches, the judge who gets his paycheck from those perpetrating the fraud will inevitably instruct the jury to ignore testimony from the defense or will 'bar' certain evidence from being admitted for review.

Not many people know this but John B. Kotmair, founder and fiduciary of the Save-A-Patriot Fellowship and Zoh Hieronimus, radio host on WCBM who is credited for repeated exposure of SAPF in and around Maryland including D.C. both had wheels fall off their vehicles on the same day. Hmmmm? Perhaps repeated and sensational radio shows like this one [approx. 15 minutes] which you can listen to now if you have the Real Player plug-in was the reason for the strange coincidence.

Our suggestion to Larken. Check your lug nuts and your back. If the government feels it can't beat leaders heading what is being referred to as the 'tax honesty movement' in court they will simply just try and beat you.

By the way there is truly nothing new under the sun. Just ask Vivien Kellems who challenged the employers requirement of withholding of taxes back in 1948, and tried to get herself indicted for not collecting employment taxes on her workers. Rev-up the way-back machine to go back to listen to Vivien Kellems. Boy Wally, some things never change.

- Setting the Record Straight
The saga continues. The Kentucky Herald-Leader has agreed to allow corrections to the story run on August 16th 2002 titled: Berea Native Says He Doesn't Pay U.S. Taxes. Surprisingly, the paper has allowed Mark Gailey Libertarian candidate for KY's U.S. 6th District Congressional seat and member of The Save-A-Patriot Fellowship to set the record straight by correcting the improper and misquoted sections of the original article and the legal positions with respect to 'U.S. taxes' as construed by the reporter for the Herald-Leader.

Wally, why do wars cost so much money? Why are so many lives needlessly lost? I can't help but notice that wars have become essential to pull certain economies out of the gutter. This war on terrorism however is going to cost us something far more pricey - our remaining freedoms, our liberty.

Gee Beav, why so many questions? You are starting to sound unpatriotic. You're not a terrorist are you? Look, when the war bill comes due just expect across the board price increases on everything. Instead of working two jobs, maybe work three or four - you see there is no such thing as a depression anymore - there's plenty of 'money' to go around. Stop worrying.

Well I dunno Wally, this overpriced home mom and dad just bought and now can't even furnish has just become a double-zing-bam-whammy. All they do is fight. I rarely see them as it is... You mean they'll have to get more work to do?

I dunno Beav, all the government-numbered children which were readily located, sent draft cards, and shipped oversees to fight this new world-war and who have now been killed won't be there to support them in their old age - I guess mom and dad will have to work more, and expect less.

Wally what about me? Who'll take care of me?

Beav don't think about things like that. Don't you know that a 'good' American doesn't think. Look Uncle Sam is still alive - he'll take care of you. He is repopulating the country as we speak with unskilled workers who can't read or speak English. They'll pay for your retirement. If the illegal aliens can't meet the demands we'll just make more enemies, and fight more wars. Eventually the world will be safe for our democracy.

Geewillikers Wally, for someone who doesn't think much or ask questions you sure have plenty of answers.

Don't worry Beav. You'll work for the government someday also, and have all the answers given to you just like me. Be a good American, and don't try to think. Now hand me my airport security badge under my checkpoint citizen flashlight, and go to bed.
