Each login name and e-mail address must be unique on our system. Therefore we cannot guarantee that you will get the address/login you requested. Since no one but you sees the login name we will make an adjustment to that if we have to. If the e-mail address is already taken, we will contact you.
You may use any POP3 e-mail client you would like such as Eudora, Pegasus, Outlook.. etc. Different software wil call these settings by different names. We have tried to include all of them.
POP3
Set your POP3 or incoming mail server to:
mail.nossn.com
or
mail.alltheabove.com
In your mail program it may be called POP3 Host, POP3 Server or Incoming Mail Server etc..
Login Account and Password
Set your user name to the login name you chose previously.
Your login name may be called such things as Account, Account name, Login Name, Login or User Name.
Set your password to the password you chose previously.
SMTP
Since we do not run an open relay, we do not allow non-users to send mail through our SMTP server. Although you are welcome to use our server for outgoing (SMTP) we would prefer you use your provider's SMTP server if at all possible. If you currently have an e-mail account with your provider, you may set the outgoing, SMTP the same as that account.
This field may be called SMTP, SMTP Host, Outgoing Mail Server or SMTP Server.
You may alternately set it to:
mail.nossn.com
or
mail.alltheabove.com
Other Fields
Other fields to deal with are your name, organization and reply to address. Naturally your reply to will be your new e-Mail address which you chose. The other fields are not relevant to how the mail works. They only serve to let the recepient know who sent the mail to them and the organization, if any.
You may leave the organization field blank if you would like.
The name field is intended for your name. You may put in your name, just your first name or an alias. You can leave it blank if you would like but you should probably put something there. An alias or what you would like to be known as would be sufficient.
