The post is laminated to prevent warping, twisting and checking and is of the finest grade cedar; planed, sanded, twice primed and twice stained to a superior finish. To eliminate wood rot, Post Seal, an impermeable asphalt membrane is wrapped below ground to last 20 years...guaranteed. Highlighting this offering is our Chippendale design cedar mortise and tenon mailbox brace with Roman Ogee routing..all joints glued and screwed for maximum strength. Combined with one of our exquisite mailboxes and our exclusive stabilizing system with American flag slot, you are assured years of faithful service, superior strength and durability.
