Warranty Yankee Mailbox LLC warranties the structural integrity of our mailbox for 10 years. Our mailboxes are protected by the finest rustproof coating and exterior powder coat available. We warranty the finish on our mailbox, signs and lanterns for 5 years. To protect the mailbox finish we recommend biannual spray wax treatment. We warranty the vinyl mailbox and sign decal for 5 years. The warranty is void if the mailbox, sign, or lantern is modified or altered. Electrical function of Yankee lantern fixtures is guaranteed for life. We do not warranty damage caused by vandalism or force of impact.Our cedar products are made using superior design method, the finest cedar available and assembled with fasteners and water proof glue. Yankee Mailbox LLC warrantees the structural integrity of our cap and brace for 10 years. We warranty the finish on our cedar products for 3 years. We do not warranty cosmetic blemishes caused by vandalism, blunt impact, normal wear, or natural expansion and contraction of cedar. We twice seal our cedar with premium oil base stain block to contain tannin, the natural oil within cedar that gives cedar durability. Tannin may penetrate your finish making a slight orange hue. Tannin is water soluble and will wash off with a mild detergent. Our acrylic latex stain will cover tannin stain. Matching touch up paint, a paint brush, spray wax, extra hardware cover caps and a new American Flag is included in our maintenance kit. With annual maintenance, your mailbox, sign and lantern posts can look like new indefinitely. Yankee Mailbox LLC shall not be liable under this or any implied warranty for accidental or consequential damages. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state. This warranty is only applicable in the United States. This Limited Lifetime Warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the parts which prove to be defective under normal use and service, and which, on examination, shall indicate to Yankee Mailbox LLC's satisfaction that they are defective. Any claims must be accompanied by a sales receipt as proof of purchase.
