Granite Mailbox Post Install Yankee mailbox arrives at the customer job site with a custom truck fully equipped with digging and hand tools. Installers wear neat uniforms with pith helmets working deliberately to install safely, efficiently and with consistent good quality. 300 plus pound granite posts are lowered into the hole with the help of our crane built into the custom truck. We always finish with a masterpiece installed and an immaculately clean work site.
Digging Method Yankee Mailbox shows the template system used to start the post hole so the mailbox post is safe from the snow plow and accessible to the postal carrier. Care is given to ensure the dig site is clean and underground utilities are not disturbed. With level, tamping rod and gravel to make solid ground pack, posts maintain plum and perpendicular to the road...guaranteed.

Maintenance Maintenance service keeps your Yankee Post looking like new. We clean and wax the mailbox, tighten all hardware, level, tamp, and firm the post, sand all cedar surfaces and finish with latex stain. Mailbox post maintenance service includes new brace hardware cover caps, stabilizer system if necessary and finally an American Flag.
Winter Service For mailbox post installation orders during the frozen ground months of January, February, and part of March, Yankee Mailbox will attempt to install, but if the ground frost is too thick, we will drop off a free standing temporary mailbox with an above ground cement footing for an additional $20 added to your total. Use the temporary post until your Yankee Mailbox is installed in Spring. This way your mail delivery will not be disrupted.
For existing Yankee Mailbox customers in need of repairs without digging during the winter months, we can restore your post to like new condition installing only the modular parts you need. For customers with a granite post with shoddy substandard parts Yankee Mailbox can Retrofit your post with top quality mailbox, brace and cap with our exclusive stabilizer system. Our $75 repair and retrofit service also includes cleaning and waxing your mailbox inside and out, touch up painting, weather permitting, and upgrading your existing Yankee Mailbox with our new Stabilizer Block with nifty American Flag slot. Our new stabilizer system will make your Yankee Mailbox even stronger than before. Strong enough to hold steadfast to the weight of the snow from the snowplows. All mailbox repair service customers also receive a complimentary American Flag, nicer quality than what you can find in stores, placed in your new Stabilizer Block flag slot.
Retrofit Granite Mailbox Post Customers with a granite post plagued with a substandard brace, cheap cap and shoddy mailbox can order our $75 Retrofit service transforming your post into a beautiful and strong Yankee Mailbox. Installers strip your granite post of the junk, and using our hammer drill and template system, install 3 stainless steel wedge anchors and mount your new Yankee Mailbox with personalized address lettering and handmade mailbox brace and post cap. Our exclusive stabilizer system and morticed brace with all joints reenforced with waterproof glue exclusive screw rebar pattern will make your mailbox post as strong as it can be. Strong enough to hold steadfast to the weight of the snow from the snowplows. For a finishing touch, Post Caps are available for 6" and 7" granite posts.
